How to make a sponge cake

W.A.L.T: Write a procedural writing


Ingredients:
  • 4 egg
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 Tps high grade flour in a cup rest of the cup cornflour
  • ¾ sugar
  • 1 Tsp boiling water


Method:

  • Firstly separate the whites to the yolk and let it set.
  • Add the boiling water to the egg white and whisk to it fluffy and glossy.
  • Then add the sugar add mix till you can’t feel the sugar at the bottom of your bowl.
  • Then put the flour in a cup and fill the rest with corn flour and tip it into the mixture and sift the baking powder into the bowl and fold the mixture together
  • grease the tin with real butter but any butter will do.
  • then when done pour the mixture into the tin and into the oven
  • put the oven at 180c then wait for 20-25 mins
  • Add when ready decorate it however you like.Image result for sponge cake
